Computing in Schools

Our TDA-funded project on Open Data for School Science follows on from Ensemble’s work. In this project we are using Ensemble tools and approaches to bring ‘open’ and authentic data into classrooms to support Science teaching in secondary schools.

As an extension of this work we are doing some work with trainee teachers at LJMU to investigate ways of developing and supporting the teaching of computing in schools with the new Raspberry Pi device. This preliminary project is supported by a LTA grant from LJMU.
